These faceted chunks of dyed maple and birch plywoods elevate the experience of the Charms (Charms sold separately, here). I glue together various offcuts and leftover pieces of plywood I have in my woodshop. Then I randomly sand angles into the chunks, dye them in whatever color suits my fancy, and hammer a nail (or 2 or 3 or more) into it. The magnet on the end of the Charms stick to the flat end of the nail. Each base is one-of-a-kind and is signed with my signature branding iron. Don’t forget to pick out your favorite Charm to go with the base.
