These faceted chunks of dyed maple and birch plywoods elevate the experience of the Charms (Charms sold separately, here). I glue together various offcuts and leftover pieces of plywood I have in my woodshop. Then I randomly sand angles into the chunks, dye them in whatever color suits my fancy, and hammer a nail (or 2 or 3 or more) into it. The magnet on the end of the Charms stick to the flat end of the nail. Each base is one-of-a-kind and is signed with my signature branding iron. Don’t forget to pick out your favorite Charm to go with the base. When adorned with Good Health Charms, I think of these as Pandemic Participation Trophies. We’ve made it through some hard times. Don’t you deserve a trophy as congratulations for getting to this point? I will make as many of these as the world needs.
