Silkscreened monoprint on hot pink crushed velvet, embellished with machine stitching. Some ends of the sewing thread have been left loose to hang down the surface of the artwork and fall outside of the frame. Because sometimes life is messy. I made the frame out of solid maple upcycled loom benches that were decommissioned from Colorado State University’s fiber art department. This particular frame shows more of that former life than others. This is #2 in a collection of 11 Pinky pieces.
